B2B to Address GAMEIS Conference in July
6/3/2008

Atlanta, Georgia - June 3, 2008 - B2B Technologies confirmed it will co-sponsor and participate with Houston County Board of Education in presenting at the annual GAMEIS conference in Savannah for the second straight year. Their topic will highlight a project that was completed earlier this year providing a new system to monitor student’s progress across their entire district for all of Houston’s schools. The system relies on an IBM AS400 (Series I) Data Warehouse supplying information to a Microsoft SQL Data Store from which a student dashboard provides secured information.

It is expected that many other school systems will adopt a similar architecture pioneered by HCBOE, consistently ranked as one of the top schools in the nation in the application of technology to solving problems in education.

GAMEIS participants represent the technology leadership from Georgia’s K12 educational communities. This event is the most attended conference of its type for the state.
